Sex is Sin

The binary categories of sacred and profane, pure and impure, divine and obscene, don't inherently exist in isolation as diametric opposites. Instead, just as the fall retroactively creates from which it falls (i.e., paradise), it is the emergence of the lowly that gives rise to the godly. Put simply, only purity is impurity.

Diamonds are Shiny Rocks

The sublime value of a diamond lies in its lack of extrinsic or utilitarian purpose, much like the absence of inherent meaning or purpose in sports and art. Recognising that the value of diamonds is purely symbolic doesn’t render it less valuable, nor does it exempt us from succumbing to this illusion.
